or XDS560 Network Interface Kit, extends the
capabilities of the XDS560™ emulator from Texas Instruments to TCP/IP network
environments. The kit combines the XDS560 with the connectivity
hardware in one small desktop unit. Compatible with TI's Code
Composer™ IDE, the JDSnet-560 is an ideal tool for XDS560 design teams in
need of remote debugging performed at extreme speeds comparable to those
of the PCI bus. If you already own the XDS560, simply insert it into the
kit and connect to a hub, switch, router, PC or laptop. You can also
purchase the kit with the emulator preinstalled for your
convenience. Once in place, the kit allows multiple engineers to access the
emulator from within Code Composer Studio without the necessity to be in the same
room, or even building, with the unit. The JDS-560 is compatible with both Ethernet and Fast
Ethernet LAN networks. |

is a PCI-bus JTAG
scan-based emulator. Its high-speed RTDX of over 2 MB per second enables
real-time bi-directional transfer between the target DSP and your host PC
with minimum CPU intrusion or overhead. Such transfers can take place on
multiple heterogeneous targets simultaneously with a single XDS560, or
simulated in software before target hardware is ready. The developer can
visualize and inspect variables, audio packets or even video streams
while the DSP processor is running, and later bring up the data to the host
for more analysis and additional visualization. The 500 Kbytes/second code
download speed, Advanced Event Triggering, Drag-and-Drop Event Sequencer
and a host of other powerful features, the XDS560 Emulator save your time
and help you stay focused on the most critical issues when building
embedded DSP applications.
