A fully controllable system ProxiLAB is a programmable reader for Proximity (PICC) smart cards. More than a simple reader, it is a comprehensive and flexible development tool dedicated to the developers involved in security evaluation or exhaustive validation. |

Driven by a powerful software suite ProxiLAB is delivered with a complete software package including a protocol analyzer, a script facility and a complete front end. As an open platform, it can be customized and integrated into an external environment through a complete API. ![]()
The reader unit is based on a high quality, fully controllable
hardware. Three types of antenna can be connected to the reader: the
built-in PCD antenna that is PayPass compliant, the external ISO
antenna or the external dual ISO antenna which allows an accurate and
independent tuning of both the transmission and the reception. ![]()
On the software side, the reader connection is possible by an
easy-to-use graphic user interface, a plug and play PC-SC driver, a COM
automation interface (VB, JScript, Perl, C, ...) or a complete API
(Application Programmable Interface) for a complete integration in the
user’s application.
ProxiLAB features a spy that records all exchanges between the PICC
(type A or type B) and the reader. It performs a complete protocol
analysis according to the ISO 14443 - ISO14443 (Type A/B) and Mifare
specifications. ![]()
The ProxiLAB analyzer is driven by the software RGPA, Generic Protocol
Analyzer, a powerful interface to create, display, archive, and manage
all your records. Advanced Triggering
ProxiLAB's embedded spy provides precise triggering with advanced
real-time communication stream analysis. You can generate in real time
an event to start the trace function or to synchronize an external
laboratory tool like scope. This event can be a simple event like start
of bit, byte, start of frame, end of frame, parity or crc error from
PCD or PICC, RF On, ... or more complex like a pattern matching. A
sequential state machine allows you also to place this event every where
(ex: after matching 4 times this pattern then this one and on the third
bit and after n etu generate the event). ![]()
