SIGNUM SYSTEMS ANNOUNCES SUPPORT FOR THE STR7 FAMILY FROM ST

October 11, 2004 – Signum Systems Corp. today announced availability of
complete software development and debugging tool set for the STR7 family of
ARM based microcontrollers from ST Microelectronics.
The JTAGjet-ARM-ST tool chain available from Signum Systems consists of
everything needed to develop and debug any embedded application based on the
ST Microelectronics’ STR71x or STR720 devices: JTAGjet-ARM In-Circuit
Debugger, Chameleon Debugger for ARM cores and GNU C compiler.
JTAGjet-ARM In-Circuit Debugger is a small, palm-sized unit that connects to
the PC host via USB 2.0/1.1 compatible port. It is capable of supporting all
ARM7 and ARM9 based devices from any vendor, including the STR710, STR711,
STR712 and STR720.
Chameleon Debugger for ARM cores is a full-featured, multi-core debugger
which supports all ARM7 and ARM9 devices and comes with board support
packages for the STR710 and STR720 Evaluation Boards from ST
Microelectronics.
The GNU C compiler is available for installation on Windows and Linux
platforms and provided in executable and source forms. It comes ready to
support all ARM7 and ARM9 cores and produces objects in the industry
standard Elf - Dwarf formats.
