SIGNUM’S JTAGjet EMULATOR ACHIEVES EUROPEAN CERTIFICATION

Ultra-fast JTAG Interface Tool for ARM, OMAP and DSP Embedded Designs Receives CE Certification

MOORPARK, CA – August 16, 2004 – Expanding its presence in Europe, Signum Systems Corporation has announced its latest JTAGjet in-circuit debugger is now CE certified (Conformité Européčnne). All products sold in European Union (EU) and many other parts of the world require CE certification.

"We are aggressively pursuing opportunities for our embedded development systems in the European market. CE certification is an important step in facilitating this expansion," said Jerry Lewandowski, Signum’s CEO. "With our proven technology and extensive industry experience, Signum is prepared to assist its current and prospective European customers in rapid development of ARM, OMAP and TMS320 DSP based embedded systems."

JTAGjet represents technological breakthrough for the embedded systems development community. The emulation technology employed in the JTAGjet allows downloads exceeding 1 MByte/sec, enabling the developer to download their large applications in seconds, rather than minutes.

Signum JTAGjet emulators are arguably the most cost effective means of boosting the productivity of ARM, OMAP and TMS320 DSP designers currently available. They have been designed specifically to shorten time to market through technological advances and ease of use without the hefty price tag of the competing products. The JTAGjet emulator is a perfect illustration of Signum’s philosophy of providing the user with maximum power at minimum cost.

The JTAGjet-ARM-USB and JTAGjet-OMAP-USB is available now for ARM7, ARM9 and OMAP devices and come bundled with Chameleon Debugger and ready to be used with many other popular ARM debuggers.

JTAGjet-CCS-USB supports the TMS320C6000, C5000 and C2000 DSP families and comes ready to be used with Code Composer Studio from Texas Instruments.
