I have used a lot emulators in my time. And believe me, Signum has always been the fastest, best technical service. You guys will always get my recommendation for emulators.

The [USP-51] UI is intuitive, nicely rendered, and generally easy to use.
The functionality is great and some of the paradigms used are nothing short
of brilliant. In comparison, using other emulators is like writing code with EDLIN (or ED for us Unix junkies).

Thanks for the help. You and the
rest of the people at Signum have been extremely helpful. Dealing
with Signum for support has been so easy, why would anyone want to buy
anything but a Signum emulator?

Our most experienced user of the internal tools came to my office to praise your debugger so I ask him to
put it in an email(...): "I have installed and run some tests on the Signum Chameleon debugger & JtagJet icebox.
• It installed cleanly the first time.
• Never crashed. • Seemed easy to use.
• Fully scriptable for benchmarking.
• Spoke to tech support on 1st call & got immediate answer to questions
on scripting."

The engineer's first reaction was, "it's the best emulator I've ever seen; sie
ist wunderbar." He went on to compare the Signum as Mercedes compared to another
as a Volksvagen.

Just wanted to let you know that we received the unit, and I am very impressed with it – it certainly puts the
(...) emulator to shame.

With today's BDM/JTAG debuggers I find myself frequently missing the excellent Signum System ICEs (...). I think there is an unspoken Inverse Moore's Law for embedded development tools, something to the effect that every 24 months the capabilities of embedded development tools halves.

The system is less expensive than the competing ICEs, and the service is very friendly.
But the best of all is the Windows Chameleon software; my students simply like its
intuitive user interface. Now I can spend more time in my Microprocessors class teaching
the essentials.

I
would like to thank your Technical Support for their excellent
support for our efforts using your 196 Emulator. Your engineers were able to
help us solve very quickly a number of challenging problems in verifying the
operation of our embedded firmware. Their knowledge of the product,
willingness to help and immediate availability to your end customers is a
great help to us.

Wow, I've worked with a lot of debuggers
but your Chameleon is the best so far!
The Watch window intelligently follows
pointers in structures. Signum's debugger is letting me get the job done
and not getting in my way. Great features!

After more than one year of using JTAGjets, we have
had no problems. I use them with the ARM processor, and my coleagues with TI's DSPs. I
have experience with another development tool (...). The JTAGjet gives me a better environment
and much more power—a good development tool!
